Man drowns after dumper truck crashes into lake
Thursday, December 6th, 2007A man drowned after his Dumper Truck crashed into a lake.
The police, fire brigade and ambulance service were called to Salt Lane Quarry, near Cliffe, at 2.20pm on Wednesday after reports that a dumper truck had gone into the lake.
The 46-year-old from Dartford was pronounced dead at the scene.
The area has been cordoned to allow a Kent Police and Health and Safety Executive joint investigation to continue.
